1005 South Webster Avenue is a lovely, just-remodelled property in a family-friendly and improving block in historic South Scranton.

The main building is a traditional 1920's big front porch, double block building, all in Scranton white. An updated separate home in the rear is, we think, much older, with red stone walls two feet thick downstairs and regular wood framing upstairs. In the remodel we aimed for Victorian "steam punk" aesthetics in the remodel (see the video walkthrough), and we love it! There is a shared back yard with a grassy yard, picnic table, and a fire pit you are welcome to use.

Each apartment has a full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room, and a rear covered small porch with steps to the back yard.

The rear building has two full-size bedrooms and a legal but tiny bedroom I call the Bassinette Room, which would also be a nice office.

One off-street parking space is assigned to each unit, two on the lot accessed from the rear alley, and two more, plus a spare, one lot away at 1013 S Webster Street. Street parking is also plentiful.

Who: We rent to individuals, couples, families, and small groups.
We also encourage Rental Co-Housing groups to lease here.

What: Unit A is a two bedroom, one bath unit on the left side.
Unit B is a one bedroom, one bath unit on the downstairs right side
Unit C is a one bedroom, one bath unit on the upstairs right side
Unit R is the entire rear building, with three bedrooms, facing Gallagher. Details and walk-through video here.

When: Now. A, B, and C are newly remodelled, rented as of January 2020.
Unit R was finished in April and rented out in May 2021. Have a look!
