The layout is three big rooms, front (living room), middle (bedroom), rear (kitchen/dining room) with a shower bathroom off the kitchen.

Unit B is the nicest apartment of the four on this property: nice tall ceilings, comfortable big rooms, clean, and cozy. With front and back porches and a large shared back yard it is close to central city and many amenities as well as a bus route that passes your front door.

Requirements: References we can call. Credit Score over 620. First month and last month rent in advance, security deposit payable over three months.
Rent:$950/month plus utilities.
Utilities:Electric and water/wastewater are metered/billed separately. The separate water heater is electric. The heat is on a shared boiler so that is paid by landlord (steam radiators).

Description: This apartment is the right side downstairs of a newly remodeled three unit building in South Scranton. Entering from the street you go up to the raised front deck with a front door shared with Unit C upstairs, which opens to the stairs and to your own separate front door which opens to the multi-window front room. Middle room has a closet which makes it the official bedrom, but you can arrange things how you like, of course! Rear room is a kitchen with attached pantry and a bathroom, and the rear porch and stairs down to the large shared backyard, fire pit, picnic table.

Special elements of unique character in this apartment include:

  • It's a nice three room apartment, living room, bedroom, and kitchen/dining room, mainly, plus bathroom, pantry, closet. You also have your own separate laundry hookup in the basement, if you want to install washer and dryer there.
  • Church bells ring nearby every day. It's lovely.

  • We are half a block uphill from a year-round creek, Mountain Lake Run. So we do sometimes woodchucks and other wildlife.

Parking includes practical street parking (right at your front door), and a less practical, but reserved, off-street, parking space two lots away.

We are extra-tenant friendly: you can add a child, boyfriend, >5-day visitor, etc., for $275/month per additional (i.e., extra tenant's rent is at half price). We will also allow a pet with a $500 pet deposit and $50/month rent for each cat or dog.

To encourage community the back yard has a picnic table space, and a fire pit for hanging out. We hope you will love living here.
